Man falls to death from Peeragarhi flyover after being hit by speeding car

A 23-year-old man fell to death from the Peeragarhi flyover, outer Delhi, after he was hit by a car speeding car, a police officer said on Sunday.
The deceased is yet to be identified by the police. The incident occurred around 7.45 p.m. on Saturday when he and his two friends were returning home on a two-wheeler after playing a cricket match at Delhi Technical University.
“They stopped in the middle of the flyover to attend a phone call. A car rammed into their stationary two-wheeler. The force of the collision threw one off the flyover, resulting in fatal injuries. He was declared dead at the hospital,” the officer said.
The other two persons sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment.
The officer added that a case has been registered, and a probe is under way to nab the car’s driver.
