A MAN IN his 60s has died while working on a road in Kilkenny this morning.
The workplace accident occurred on the Kennyswell Road in Kilkenny city at around 11am.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí and emergency services remain at the scene, which has been preserved for technical examination.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) confirmed that it was notified of the workplace death, and is investigating the matter.
