Two teenagers have been arrested after a man was allegedly robbed at a train station. Witnesses reported seeing a number of police vehicles in Porth town centre in the Rhondda on Saturday night. South Wales Police later confirmed that two 16-year-old boys were arrested in connection with the alleged robbery of a 30-year-old man which happened earlier that evening near Porth train station. An investigation is ongoing and police are asking for anyone with information to come forward. Both boys remained in police custody on Sunday morning. A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "We can confirm two 16-year-old boys were arrested in Porth on Saturday night in connection with a robbery of a 30 year-old man which happened earlier in the evening in the vicinity of Porth train station. "They remain in police custody and the investigation is ongoing. "Anyone with information about the incident is urged to make contact – give reference 2500222091."
