Manchester United have been handed another transfer blow as Ruben Amorim's search for a No.9 continues. The Red Devils had been linked with Canadian sensation Jonathan David - who is set to leave Lille when his contract expires. However, according to Sky Italia, Juventus have put an offer on the table for the 25-year-old striker, who is keen to make the move to Serie A. The report claims David is impressed with the offer, but is waiting to make his final decision. He has spent the last five years in Northern France , scoring 109 goals in all competitions in that time. He registered 25 goals last season, one few than his tally of 26 for the past two years. The Canadian has attracted interest from across Europe - including Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal on these shores. However, Italy looks to be his likely destination, with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reporting there's also a proposal on the table from Serie A champions Napoli. "Every story has a beginning and an end," David said in an emotional video on Instagram as he announced he was leaving Lille. "I wanted you to hear it from me, after five years at the club, it is time to say goodbye. "I spent five amazing years in Lille. I know it hasn’t been the easiest, but I hope that my goals and celebrations have brought you guys some joy and happiness. "And it’s been a long and fun ride and especially with those two titles that we won together, I think make the story even better. "I would like to thank all of my team-mates that I played with, coaches, staff members, kit men, medical staff, everyone that has worked at the club that I’ve came in contact with. "I’d like to thank you for the work that you’ve done for the team and especially for myself all these years. "And lastly, for the fans, thank you also for the support that you guys have given me throughout all these years. "I know that the beginning wasn’t the easiest we had some hard moments obviously, but I think with your support and your help it helped me flourish all these years and made me the player I am today. "So with this I would just like to say thank you again."
