Man Utd travel chaos as Ruben Amorim forced into last-minute change for Tottenham clash

Manchester United have been forced to change their travel plans at the last minute ahead of their clash with Tottenham on Sunday.
United are set to take on Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and had planned to travel from Manchester to London by train on Saturday, before flying back shortly after the match on Sunday.
However, the Daily Mail are reporting that United's plans were affected by a signalling issue between Rugby and Milton Keynes which led to a number of trains being cancelled or suffering major delays.
United had opted to travel by train as the journey from Manchester Picadilly to London Euston typically takes around two-and-a-half hours, while the same journey takes more than four hours by coach.
The report also notes that United were unable to take their normal team bus and were instead forced to hire a 'much less luxurious coach' which picked up manager Ruben Amorim and his players at Manchester Airport.
Travel problems are not the only issue United are dealing with ahead of their clash with Spurs, with a number of players suffering injuries in training this week. Midfielders Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer have picked up knocks, while Amad could be out for the rest of the season.
Amad reportedly suffered an ankle ligament injury and, although the extent of the damage is still being assessed, there are fears the 22-year-old's campaign could be over. Amad has been a key player under Amorim and confirmed the news in a post on social media.
"Extremely disappointed to be writing this message in such a crucial time of the season," Amad said. "Unfortunately, I will be out for some time with an injury. I will come back stronger than ever!! Time to support the boys from the outside. Still loads to play for."
Lisandro Martinez has already been ruled out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury, while Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans are long-term absentees. Speaking before United's trip to Spurs, Amorim said: "It was a good week until two days ago.
"We had some problems also. We don't have players back. Maybe we have one or two issues, we are waiting. We have one player also who is sick so we will see who is fit. But it was good to work with team, to feel the players and try and improve performances."
