Mankessim Senior High Technical School (MANSTECH) were crowned champions of the Central Region Zone 3 Schools and Colleges Soccer Championship after a commanding 2-0 victory over Mfantsipim School at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast.
MANSTECH struck twice in the first half and held firm in the second to seal a well-deserved triumph and etch their name in the regional record books.
In the third-place playoff, Efutu Senior High Technical School edged St. Augustine’s College 2-1 to claim bronze.
Girls’ Division: Methodist High pull off stunning comeback
In the girls' final, Methodist High School, Saltpond, delivered a stunning performance to come from behind and defeat Holy Child School 5-2.
After conceding early via a penalty, the Saltpond-based side stormed back, with Jessica Appiah Asamoah, a Form 2 Visual Arts student, scoring twice to inspire the comeback.
Meanwhile, Mankessim SHTS capped off a strong showing in both divisions by defeating Wesley Girls’ High School 3-0 to secure third place.
