Mark Wright has shared his feelings about becoming a father after he and his wife, Michelle Keegan, welcomed their daughter, Palma Elizabeth Wright. The couple has been overjoyed by the arrival of their little one, and Mark has expressed his happiness on several occasions. During a recent appearance on his Heart radio show alongside Olly Murs, Mark spoke about the life-changing experience of fatherhood. He described it as the greatest achievement of his life, saying: "It's the biggest achievement of my life, it's all I think about." While sharing his excitement, Mark took the opportunity to praise Michelle for her strength during childbirth. He called her a "superhuman" for bringing their daughter into the world, saying: "Obviously hats go off to my wife, she is an absolute superhuman, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world." He also reflected on how the experience had deepened his respect for women and mothers. Mark said: "It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women had to go through." Mark shared an emotional moment when he recalled the first time he held Palma in his arms. He said: "That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it." He added that it was a powerful moment that changed his perspective on life. "I suppose everything else goes out the window and it's made me realise what life is all about and, my little baby Palma, I love you so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." He ended by describing the overwhelming joy of becoming a parent and the journey the couple had taken to get to this point. Mark said: "It's a very special feeling. I can't really put it into words. We've waited a little bit of time, we've chased our dreams and our careers and now we're here. We've got a baby." A friend lifted the lid on the couple's new-found bliss, revealing that the pair are in a "perfect love bubble" with their new baby daughter. The pal said her and Mark have “shut up shop and cleared the diary” as they decamped with baby Palma to their Essex mansion. The baby - named after their Majorcan capital - was born a week ago, and they told only the immediate family circle. A source said: “They wanted to keep the news very private and bask in the glory of a new-born without any distractions without the world knowing. They are in a perfect love bubble with no external noises, and it’s been total and utter bliss.” A friend mentioned that Michelle had a few projects lined up, but they were "much further down the line," allowing her to fully enjoy being a mum to Palma. A source added: "It's such a special time for them both; they are head over heels in love and can't believe they have created this tiny person. The last week has been utterly wonderful."
