Sky Sports Formula 1 commentator Martin Brundle offered additional information on Christian Horner's departure from Red Bull Racing.After more than 20 years at the helm of the team which he built, Horner was dismissed by the board and given his walking papers - ending a historic tenure in F1.The move came as a shock, especially considering the large amount of influence Horner gained over the years.It took place at the halfway point of the season, with few reports indicating that the move was coming.In the aftermath of Horner's departure, Brundle spoke with people around the team about what had happened and why the sudden move had occurred."I've had a long chat with Christian, I've spoken to Jos Verstappen, and we've heard from Max ... it seems clear that it was a decision from Austria, it wasn't the Verstappens asking for this," Brundle said on Sky Sports."Jos Verstappen's thrown a lot of hand grenades in, in the last 16 months, and some of them have gone off. He made it clear he thought Christian should move on from time to time.
