Kraven the Hunter—the Marvel movie dud starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Russell Crowe—will soon get a chance to find a new audience on Netflix.
Rated R, Kraven the Hunter opened in theaters on Dec. 13, 2024, and debuted on digital streaming via premium video on demand on Jan. 14. The logline for Kraven the Hunter reads, “Kraven's (Taylor-Johnson) complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.”

According to Netflix, Kraven the Hunter is debuting on streaming service on Thursday, March 13. You must be a Netflix subscriber in order to access the film on the streaming platform. Netflix has an ad-based package available for $7.99 per month for users to stream on two supported devices, as well as an ad-free package for $17.99 per month for two supported devices.
Netflix also offers an ad-free package for $24.99 per month, which allows subscribers to stream content on four supported devices with programming in 4K Ultra HD.
‘Kraven The Hunter’ Was The Last Of Three Sony Marvel Movies Released In 2024
Kraven the Hunter marks the third film released by Sony Pictures Entertainment this year in the studio’s Spider-Man universe of films, following Madame Web and Venom: The Last Dance.

Kraven the Hunter ended its theatrical run in mid-February. According to The Numbers, the film— directed by J.C. Chandor – ended its domestic run with $25 million in North American ticket sales and nearly $35 million in international receipts for a final worldwide box office tally of $60 million against a $110 million production budget before prints and advertising expenses.

Rotten Tomatoes critics splattered Kraven the Hunter with bad reviews, giving the film a 16% “rotten” rating based on 153 reviews. The film fared a bit better with audience voters on RT, giving the film a 73% “fresh” rating on the site’s Popcornmeter based on 1,000-plus verified user ratings.
One upside for Kraven the Hunter’s RT score is that Madame Web scored an 11% “rotten” rating on RT based on 266 reviews and a 54% “rotten” Popcornmeter score based on 1,000-plus verified user ratings.

Venom: The Last Dance fared much better but still had a 40% “rotten” rating on RT based on 218 reviews and an 80% “fresh” rating on the site’s Popcornmeter based on 5,000-plus verified user ratings.
Also starring Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott and Alessandro Nivola, Kraven the Hunter debuts on Netflix on March 13.
