@Source: dailyrecord.co.uk
A masked gang have sent a chilling warning to a rival family online leading to fears of further traveller gang warfare in Scotland. In the footage a group of around 40 can be seen standing behind one man who launches a tirade at their enemies and challenges them to come out and fight. A tall man wearing an all black tracksuit stands forward and addresses the camera in the video posted on TikTok. He screams: "Today, come out and fight. My men and my family are here, two o'clock, let's f***ing go." As he finishes talking the crowd behind him yell and jump up and down with their arms in the air. Next, another smaller man, wearing shorts and t-shirt, takes over and begins to goad the rival family. Pointing at the camera, he said: "Listen, every single one of you, bring your gang and we'll fight, we will get it on. Any way you want it. We're the number one, always the best. "We're Scotland's number one, get out here and get it done today." Another two men come forward and the four of them launch foul mouth expletives and gesticulate towards the camera as the video ends. The clip comes after three men were rushed to hospital following violent clashes between warring traveller families in Ayrshire on Sunday, March 9. Around 20 thugs attacked rivals and smashed up vehicles, with m etal poles , golf clubs, spades and road signs. The chaos between rival families unfolded in Stevenston, where one of the traveller clans is understood to be living in a car park close to the seaside town's beach. Mobile phone footage taken by the attacking group shows a group of riled up men in a transit van approaching the makeshift campsite. Caravans and other vehicles are seen in the background as the men speed towards them . One of the gang is then heard shouting, "Don't ram! Don't ram the van!". In the 35-second-long clip , another man is heard saying, "Out, now!" before he and a group of thugs pile out of the vehicle and race towards their victims. One man can be seen swinging a spade, while another wielding a road sign follows on. A third man is seen using a golf club as a weapon, while others have huge metal poles. The footage cuts off before an injured man is seen lying on the ground. Another clip then shows a brute using his weapon to smash in a car window as a terrified driver cowers inside. More violence continued off camera after the group left the site and descended on a Morrisons supermarket around two miles away in the town's Kilwinning Road. Inspector Douglas Clark from Irvine Police Station said: "Enquiries are ongoing following a disturbance in the Trelawney Terrace area of Stevenson. "Around 2.10pm on Sunday, 9 March, 2025, we were called to a report of a three people found seriously injured at a premises in Kilwinning Road, Stevenston, following an earlier disturbance on Trelawney Terrace.
