The Irish pair are aiming to become the first team to successfully defend their title at the Zurich Classic.

RORY McILROY AND Shane Lowry slipped down the leaderboard at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans after a day-two round of 69.
The pair are in a tie for 16th, on 11 under, having shot 64 yesterday which put them in a tie for 14th.

They are six strokes off American duo Isaiah Salinda and Kevin Velo, who lead after a stunning 58 on Thursday and 69 today.
McIlroy and Lowry are bidding to become the first team to successfully defend their title at the Zurich Classic.
Their foursome round today at TPC Louisiana included an eagle on the second hole.

They had birdies on holes four, seven, eight, 10 and 12 but dropped shots on three, 13, 17 and 18.
