On Monday, President Donald Trump and wife Melania Trump kicked off the annual Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn, with the first Lady making a Spring-forward fashion choice in a cream-colored trench coat.
The event features the classic egg roll and egg hunt, with thousands of families in attendance.
In a drift away from the typical, bright pastel Easter colors, Melania instead opted for a long, cream-colored trench coat with paneling detail on the back and shoulder.
The jacket featured a belted waist with neutral colored buttons, as she bundled up for the cloudy Washington, D.C., weather.
Melania paired the look with a pair of green high heels and her signature blowout, keeping it simple without much jewelry on.
'Thank you very much, everybody, and a Happy Easter to everyone,' President Trump said in his address to the crowd.
'It was a beautiful day yesterday, and it's a beautiful day today, we don't have to worry about sunburn but it looks like it's not gonna be raining, it's gonna be something special,' he continued.
During the speech, Trump said that there were 42,000 people joining them on the South Lawn throughout the day.
He also paid tribute to the late Pope Francis, who died last night at the age of 88, explaining that he had just signed an executive order to fly the flags at half-mast.
'He was a good man, worked hard, he loved the world and it's an honor to do that,' he said.
He then thanked his wife, Melania, sharing that she had planned the entire event and 'worked very, very hard.'
Vice President JD Vance and wife Usha, were not present, as they are currently in India for a four-day visit with Vance set to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding Trump's ongoing tariff plans as the country tries to head towards a deal.
However, this year, things look a bit different, as Trump has forgone plastic Easter eggs and instead replaced them with dozens of real eggs that have been donated by American egg farmers.
Additionally, this year's event was sponsored by various corporations, including YouTube, Amazon and Meta, per NPR.
The proceeds will go to the nonprofit White House Historical Association.
But hunting for eggs isn't the only exciting thing that will be happening at the South Lawn event.
Per The White House's website, other activities will include a Be Best Military Card Writing Station, cookie decorating station, Reading Nook, courtesy of Amazon and Be Best Hopscotch.
More activities include the Bunny Hop Stage, courtesy of YouTube, and a Bubble Station, Bunny Tunnel, and Soccer Eggstravaganza.
Children and families who attend the event will also get to participate in the America250 initiative, which is a leadup to the nationwide commemoration of the 250th celebration of America’s founding.
The America250 initiative will allow children to sign a mini Declaration of Independence and even dress up as the Founding Fathers.
Leavitt is listed as a featured reader at the Reading Nook during the event, along with U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and First Lady Melania, among others.
