Michael B. Jordan admits he likes to take a little memento or two from all of his projects over the years. For instance, the actor, 38, says he took all his props from his twin characters, Smoke and Stack, in the new supernatural horror film Sinners. "They had some things that they always carry with them that I always kept in my pocket, whether it was seen or not," he tells PEOPLE of the necklaces, watches and other trinkets. "I always had those things on me and I took those with me." And while he has grand plans for displaying everything one day, for now it's all "in boxes probably more than anything at the moment," Jordan adds. "I keep all my stuff for the most part, some of the costumes, wardrobe and things that mean something to the character, means something to me. The the goal eventually is to have a place where I [can show] all my stuff from over the years." As for his most prized possession, the actor insists that's a "really tough" call. "Maybe Adonis's robe from Creed III, which we made out of recycled firehose from the riots in Los Angeles. That's pretty significant to me," he says. "Or Killmonger's African mask from Black Panther that they took from the museum. I got that one." So would he ever just wear the robe around his house? "Just on a Sunday, pop it on and watch some games?" he says, laughing. "That would [put me in a good mood]. That's a new one. Put that one down." With Sinners now in theaters, Jordan chatted with PEOPLE for One Last Thing: Last perfect day offWe were in Japan. I had this phenomenal French toast, then just walked around and sat down by this little canal. There were hawks picking up fish out of this stream. The sun was out; there were clouds in the sky. It looked like a Studio Ghibli [anime] movie. Last DIY projectThere was a leak, and the water wouldn’t shut off, so I had to go to the valves that controlled the house, and I ended up finding it. I don’t even know why I know how. I think from watching my dad growing up. Last game I playedUno with a bunch of friends and family. I won the first game, lost the rest. I’m pretty competitive. I’m not cheating, but I like coming in first place. Last injuryI tore my ACL a few years ago playing soccer with my nephew. He is so fast and has endless energy. I was tired, he went left, I slipped a little bit. It was game over for me. Sinners is now playing in theaters everywhere.
