Minka Kelly and Dan Reynolds had a unique start to their relationship. Kelly and Reynolds met through a mutual friend In an interview with PEOPLE in July 2024, Reynolds revealed that after a mutual friend first introduced them, they spoke for a month over the phone before meeting up because Kelly was working in the United Kingdom at the time. In those early days, Reynolds said they grew close through their creative work, with the “Radioactive” singer sending the actress songs from his band’s album Loom while she shared excerpts from her book, Tell Me Everything: A Memoir. “She’s like, ‘Well, if you’re going to share your art, I can share something with you, but it’s very vulnerable for me.
