THIS is the moment two holidaymakers are forced to watch on as their packed cruise slowly drifts away after they turned up 30 minutes late.
The couple were mocked by the rest of the passengers who were seen laughing as they gleefully departed from a dock in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Dramatic footage captured the two tourists speeding in a black golf caddy back to their Royal Caribbean Rhapsody of the Seas cruise liner.
But as the pair hop out of the car and attempt to board the ship it begins to sail away right in front of them.
The woman can be seen in disbelief as she speaks to her partner.
Both appear to be in swimming outfits with the man having a towel wrapped around his neck and wet hair.
They walk up to a member of staff and try to find out exactly what has gone so wrong as the viral video slowly pans out to reveal the cruise is still lurking nearby.
Footage of their pricey mistimed return quickly went viral online and has racked up millions of views on Instagram.
Many viewers have been left far more interested in the reaction from the fellow cruise-goers towards the late running couple.
Merciless cheers and sarcastic whistles can be heard in the video as those who safely boarded the Rhapsody of the Seas watch on.
Shouts of "goodbye" from those sat in the comfort of the luxury vessel also ring out in the short clip.
Even the ship's captain appears to join in with the comedic bashing of the young duo as the loud honking of the horn sounds out as the cruise leaves the port.
The blunder was recorded on day five of Royal Caribbean's seven-day Southern Caribbean Cruise.
It set off from Puerto Rico on March 30.
Before docking in St Kitts on April 3, the ship had ferried travellers to two ports in the US Virgin Islands, and Sint Maarteen, part of the Netherlands Antilles.
The cruise was set to return to Puerto Rico on April 6, with tickets for the journey starting at £1,011.
The Rhapsody of the Seas had its maiden voyage in 1997, but was last refurbished in 2016.
The vessel features 12 decks, 1,013 cabins and can accommodate up to 2,431 passengers and 770 crew.
The video was allegedly filmed on April 3.
Earlier this month, shocking footage captured the moment passengers were thrown around a cruise ship amid colossal waves.
Heart-stopping footage showed the cruise ship face up to 40ft waves as it took on the treacherous voyage through the infamous Drake Passage.
