NASCAR Announces All New Network In Collaboration With MRN And PRN

NASCAR has unveiled a new collaboration through the creation of the NASCAR Racing Network (NRN), announced by Motor Racing Network (MRN) and Speedway Motorsports' Performance Racing Network (PRN).This network aims to offer comprehensive radio coverage for NASCAR fans, debuting with live coverage of the Craftsman Truck Series season opener at the Daytona International Speedway. The inaugural event, the Fresh From Florida 250, ended with Corey Heim securing victory.More News: Corey Heim Reflects on Daytona Chaos: 'It's Better Than Being Wrecked'The decision to form NRN brings together two of NASCAR's most established radio networks, MRN and PRN, which have long been at the forefront of providing NASCAR coverage to fans who may not have the opportunity to attend the events in person or enjoy them from home.MRN, founded in 1970 by NASCAR's founder Bill France Sr. and broadcaster Ken Squier, is a subsidiary of NASCAR and has been delivering race coverage for over 50 years. PRN, operated by Speedway Motorsports, covers large racing events across NASCAR's top series at its tracks.Chris Schwartz, the president of MRN, commented on the new partnership:"Working side by side, MRN and PRN have built one of the largest radio networks in sports, delivering the excitement of NASCAR racing to hundreds of thousands of race fans coast to coast."The NASCAR Racing Network builds on each other's strengths and creates a new path for us to elevate the NASCAR Radio landscape for fans and stakeholders of the sport."Radio remains a vital part of NASCAR's media strategy despite the expansion of TV and digital streaming platforms. Recently, Prime Video joined the NASCAR broadcasting scene to air select races in the 2025 season. NASCAR racing has been broadcast by networks such as FOX, FS1, USA Network, NBC, and TNT, offering a varied viewing experience.In January 2025, NASCAR also launched its FAST Channel called the NASCAR Channel in collaboration with Tubi.
