Nelly Korda hits the range in black-and-blue ensemble ahead of ShopRite LPGA Classic

World No. 1 golfer Nelly Korda is gearing up to tee off in the 2025 ShopRite LPGA Classic, which kicks off on June 6. Ahead of the tournament, she hit the range while donning a stylish black and blue golf attire.Korda had a phenomenal season last year, with seven wins on the LPGA Tour. She also won the Chevron Championship, which marked her second major championship title. She has yet to claim her first win of the season this year, and will attempt to do so at the ShopRite LPGA Classic.In a video posted by the LPGA on X, the Bradenton-born golfer was captured donning a light blue Nike golf shirt paired with a black skirt. She also wore a hat, sunglasses, and sneakers as she practiced her strokes. Her second was at the Founders Cup, where she finished at T7.Nelly Korda will be making her ninth PGA Tour start of the year at the ShopRite LPGA Classic. She’ll compete against other top golfers such as Jeeno Thitikul, Maja Stark, and Mao Saigo. On day two, she forged ahead with six birdies and two bogeys, making the cut into the third round.On moving day, Korda struggled on the front nine and went birdie-free after shooting four bogeys. On the back nine, she flipped the script and went bogey-free after shooting three birdies. On day four, she shot four birdies and three bogeys, bringing her total score across 72 holes to 5-under.The 26-year-old was tied for second place with Rio Takeda, and at T4, Mao Saigo tied with Runoning Yin and Hye-Jin Choi.The total prize purse for the tournament was $12 million. Stark went home with $2.4 million, while Korda won $1.052.621 million for her performance.
