Newly-appointed Connacht head coach Stuart Lancaster is confident that he can lead the province back to where they belong by qualifying for next season’s URC play-offs and securing Champions Cup rugby. Lancaster signed a two-year contract as Connacht boss earlier this week in what is a major coup for the province, and the Englishman, who enjoyed seven successful years with Leinster, is eager to hit the ground running when pre-season begins next month.
