Love is in the air for Brooks Marks. The 25-year-old reality star, who fans were first introduced to on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, revealed in the June 17 episode of Next Gen NYC that he's in a relationship with "the most handsome man," his boyfriend Kade. When Brooks' father, Seth Marks, began questioning him about whether or not he and his boyfriend play golf together, he said, "No, we haven't. It's not his sport of choice but he says he's pretty good." Brooks then explained more about the "big news" that he's in a relationship — including how he and Kade came into each other's lives. "Kade and I met in Park City. I was out with my mom during Sundance and, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the most handsome man," he revealed during the episode. "We danced, like, all night long. We had a little kiss." Brooks called Kade "the most incredible boyfriend ever," but then shared the one hiccup of their romance: distance, as Kade splits his time between Austin and Los Angeles. "So every time he's here, I'm like, 'What can I do to make you never want to leave again?'" Brooks said. Seth then proceeded to ask probing questions about Brooks and Kade's sex life in an attempt to bond with his son. "How's your sex life?" Seth asked before Brooks shut down the conversation promptly, responding, "That's not something that I need to talk to my dad about." Seth went to say that he wanted a "deeper, emotional connection" with Brooks after learning that he discusses these subjects with his mother, Meredith Marks. He continued to dig, asking Brooks what his and Kade's "body counts" — meaning the number of people they've slept with — were. "I just want to make sure you know that before you give him your heart completely, that it's mutual," Seth told his son. "I don't want to see my kids get their hearts crushed." Brooks' boyfriend revelation came after he previously opened up about what it's like to have his sexuality discussed and personal life dissected on television. During the June 10 episode of Next Gen NYC, Brooks reflected on his time growing up in front of the cameras on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. "What I went through with my sexuality being discussed on TV, facing the backlash that I did, made me feel so insecure and, like, worthless," he said. He reflected on feeling pressure in the public eye, saying, "Trying to come into your own is difficult enough, but let alone when thousands of people are weighing in on it, giving their unsolicited opinion about someone who they've seen five minutes of on TV, definitely cuts a lot deeper."
