TOKYO -- Nissan Motor is in talks with Taiwan's Foxconn to let the electronics giant produce electric vehicles at a Japanese plant at risk of closure as part of the automaker's planned restructuring, Nikkei has learned.
The potential collaboration involves the Japanese company's Oppama plant in the Kanagawa prefecture city of Yokosuka, south of Tokyo, a Nissan source told Nikkei.
