Anthony Edwards credits Stephen Curry for 3-point shooting
Speaking right after the Timberwolves’ Game 4 win, Anthony Edwards spoke to ESPN about his three-point shooting exploits.
Edwards credited Stephen Curry for working with him on his shooting at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Curry set an example for Edwards, and he followed it to become a better shooter.
“Let it fly. I work on it. I told Steph – I was working with him all summer. Big shoutout, big credit to him. He influenced me to be able to shoot the ball really well. So, I went back in the summer and started working on it once I left him, and I got better at it.”
Edwards led the NBA in 3-pointers made this season with 320. And in this series, he has sunk 14 threes while shooting 41.2% from beyond the arc.
