Oregon has its first Big Ten softball player of the week. Sophomore infielder Katie Flannery, who hit .692 with four home runs and 12 RBIs in a series win at Washington plus a win over Abilene Christian, earned the program’s first ever Big Ten player of the week honor on Monday. Flannery was 9 for 13 with a double, triple, and four homers, scored nine runs and had a 1.846 slugging percentage against the Huskies. She is the fifth UO player to be recognized by the conference this season.
