Paige Spiranac said that she was left 'shaking like a leaf' when she met Tiger Woods. The Instagram sensation, who boasts more than four million followers and is known for her sizzling golf tips and tricks, couldn't help but geek out when she met the king of the greens. During an Instagram Q&A, Spiranac explained she once received a mini masterclass from Woods at a charity event. She said: "I have a lot of pretty cool stories that I would want to share. But unfortunately, when I do, when I meet someone, the comments are, 'Oh, he ****** her'. And it's like, 'No, I can have a normal interaction with someone'. "It's disrespectful to me and to that person, and if they have a wife or significant other. So, bearing that in mind, I did fan girl over Tiger Woods. He's the only person I got so incredibly nervous over while having a lesson at his charity event. "I was shaking like a leaf, I was so nervous. But he was so nice. That was one moment where I was like, 'I can't believe this is my life'." Often hailed as the GOAT of golf, Woods boasts an epic 28-year career with a trophy cabinet crammed with 82 PGA Tour victories and 15 major championships - initially making his mark at the 1997 Masters the year after turning pro, reports the Irish Star . He has also racked up an impressive 683 weeks at World No. 1 and boasts 11 PGA Tour Player of the Year awards, showcasing his dedication to the sport. But the now 49-year-old has seen a dip in form as of recent, with no major championships clinched since his triumph at the 2019 Masters. Ranked 1239th in the Official World Golf Rankings, Woods' most recent PGA Tour victory was at the 2019 Zozo Championship. In 2024, he participated in just five tournaments, with his highest finish being 60th at the Masters, scoring 16-over-par. Woods hasn't made an appearance on the course in 2025, as he's been mourning the loss of his mother, Kultida, who passed away last month. In an emotional statement, Woods said: "It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, passed away early this morning. "My Mom was a force of nature all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable. She was quick with the needle and a laugh. She was my biggest fan, greatest supporter, without her none of my personal achievements would have been possible. "She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie. Thank you all for your support, prayers and privacy at this difficult time for me and my family. Love you, Mom."
