Ramallah, August 12 (QNA) - The Palestinian Cabinet Tuesday urged the international community to intensify pressure and mobilize efforts to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and to lift the unprecedented blockade that has deepened famine and caused a dramatic rise in casualties across the territory. In an official statement, the Cabinet condemned recent Israeli declarations advocating control over the West Bank, describing them as a blatant challenge to international will and a violation of international legitimacy. It also warned of the dangerous escalation in settlement expansion within Area C, asserting that such actions undermine the realization of a Palestinian state and entrench the occupation. The Cabinet further rejected Israel's continued withholding of Palestinian clearance funds, denouncing it as political blackmail. It affirmed ongoing efforts at all levels to secure the release of the withheld funds and to mobilize additional financial resources to meet government obligations. (QNA)
