Ramallah, April 19 (QNA) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned of the dangers posed by content circulating on platforms linked to Israeli occupation organizations, which advocate for the demolition of Al Aqsa Mosque and the construction of the so-called "Temple" in its place.
In a statement issued Saturday, the ministry described such content as systematic incitement aimed at escalating attacks on Christian and Islamic holy sites in occupied Jerusalem.
It highlighted that the ruling Israeli right-wing feels emboldened to implement its expansionist, racist, and Judaization plans, particularly in light of weak international responses to the atrocities and acts of genocide committed in Gaza.
The ministry called on the international community and relevant UN institutions to take these provocations with utmost seriousness and to enforce international law to curb the Israeli government’s unilateral actions against the Palestinian people.
It urged measures to compel Israel to adhere to international and regional peace efforts, comply with international legitimacy resolutions, and halt acts of genocide.
The ministry also emphasized the need to establish mechanisms to protect the Palestinian people effectively. (QNA)
