In another tweet, she wrote, “A big shout out to Shreyas Iyyer, Priyansh Arya, Prabsimram Singh & Marcus Stoinis for their incredible performance tonight. I’m so proud of how they played & I’m confident we will come back stronger as a team in the coming games. Tonight is about taking the positives & leave the negative behind. Good night everyone.”
Abhishek Sharma’s Knock
Star Indian opener Abhishek Sharma made history on Saturday (April 12) by setting a new record for the highest individual score by an Indian in IPL history. The 24-year-old left-hander from Punjab smashed 141 runs off just 55 balls while opening for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Punjab Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. His explosive innings included 14 fours and 10 sixes, and he shared a 171-run opening stand with Travis Head (66 off 37).
With this knock, Abhishek surpassed KL Rahul’s previous record of 132* off 69 balls, set in IPL 2020 against RCB in Dubai.
