PCB Chairman avoids congratulating India in Champions Trophy's success post

The Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) Chairman made a direct attack on India in his recent Twitter post after the completion of the Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament was a hit, and all the teams played really well. However, during the awards ceremony of the Champions Trophy, which happened in Dubai, none of the members from the PCB were present, which was quite disrespectful to the board. Advertisment "I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated PCB team, the vigilant law enforcement agencies, the supportive provincial governments, the esteemed ICC officials, and the phenomenal cricket teams that travelled to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. Your commitment and collective efforts ensured the seamless execution of this prestigious tournament, transforming it into a resounding success. Pakistan takes immense pride in hosting this global spectacle, and your contributions have truly made it a historic event for cricket fans worldwide," read the tweet. Pakistan's tournament wasn't the best since they were knocked out from the group stages. It was humiliating and disappointing for them as the tournament's finals shifted to Dubai due to India's qualification. This is the main reason why PCB chairman didn't include India in his appreciation post. What are you trying to get into?: Yograj Singh Yuvraj Singh's father, Yograj Singh, gave a stern reply to Pakistan's former player Saqlain Mushtaq, who made an open challenge to the Indian team after they beat the Men in Green in the Champions Trophy 2025. Mushtaq said that India should play Pakistan in an all-format series to show whether they are better than them or not. Yograj replied, saying the Pakistanis cannot be taught anything since they haven't learned it in 78 years. "I read Saqlain's comment. What are you trying to get into? They don't know how to appreciate it. They just speak. So, a lot of mouths were shut. They haven't learned in 78 years. What can I teach them? People who keep berating their players, what can you teach them?" said Yograj Singh.
