Scottie Scheffler is a major champion again.He signed for an even-par 71 Sunday at Quail Hollow to finish at 11-under overall, winning by five shots and claimed his first PGA Championship and third major.With this win, Scheffler now has 15 career PGA Tour victories.The former Texas Longhorn did not have his best stuff on Sunday but put together a gritty round to secure his second win of the year.With this victory, he has claimed all three majors by at least three strokes, which hasn't been done since Seve Ballesteros accomplished it in 1983.The PGA Championship's purse increased this year by $500,000 to $19 million, and Scheffler will take home $3,420,000 of it.Three players tied for second place at 6-under overall in Bryson DeChambeau, Harris English and Davis Riley.English signed for a 6-under 65 to move 34 spots up the leaderboard and into a tie for second. It marks his best major championship finish. He and the other two in second place will take home $1,418,667 each.LIV Golf's Jon Rahm battled most of the day, but he made two bogeys and a double on the Green Mile to sign for a 2-over 73. He settled for an T8 finish and won $454,781.J.T. Poston, Jhonattan Vegas and Taylor Pendrith tied for fifth place at 5-under overall.
