After The Masters tournament wrapped up over the weekend, the PGA Tour's best golfers were back in action for the season's fifth Signature Event. On Thursday, Horschel hit an errant tee shot that blasted a woman's shin by the course. After ripping the driver to the right of the tenth fairway, Billy Ho retrieved the ball and was informed ricocheted hard off the woman's shin and bounced back toward the fairway. While the golfer did not see the ball hit the fan, the damage was glaringly visible as the woman had a giant welt on her shin. To make up for the accident, Horschel encircled the welt and signed around it.
