Greyson Sigg was playing in the pro-am competition on Wednesday ahead of the tournament kicking off on Thursday. But according to PGA Tour Communications, Sigg was forced to drop out from both after his wife went into labor. Sigg will be replaced in the Canadian Open field by Zac Blair. The 30-year-old announced in 2021 that he had gotten engaged to his then-girlfriend, Katie, as they proudly showed off her ring. According to a wedding registry for the couple on The Knot, they were married on September 9, 2022 in Highlands, North Carolina. Greyson Sigg has dropped out of the RBC Canadian Open after his wife went into labor Greyson and Katie Sigg got engaged in 2021 and were married the following year A University of Georgia grad, Sigg turned pro in 2017 and joined the PGA Tour in 2022. He's played in 117 events and has nine top-10 finishes, earning over $4.4million in official money in the process. Sigg also recorded one of the lowest rounds in golf history in 2019, as he registered a 59 at the GolfBC Championship. The Canadian Open will run from June 5-8 at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley. Robert MacIntyre will look to defend his title after pulling away from the field with a 16-under last year.
