Advertisement - RAWALPINDI, Mar 13 (APP):Director General Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Ahmed Hassan Ranjha on Thursday said that the work of renovating and beautifying parks and green belts has started given spring. Talking to the media, he said that under the ‘Clean and Green Initiative’ of the Punjab government, special arrangements have been made to ensure the decoration of the corridors of the parks. Ranjha said that PHA was committed to providing the best recreational opportunities and sports activities for Rawalpindi’s residents. He added that PHA has special fame and a unique identity across the country because of the spring season and PHA will take forward this legacy to beautify the green belts and parks of the city. Ranjha further informed that PHA has initiated the Twin Cities Ramazan Cricket Cup,2025 to engage the youths in sports activities and matches were held in PHA Potohar ground, Dhok Munshi. Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said that the beautification of different roads and green belts had kicked off and various chowks were being decorated with fancy models. He added that colourful flowers and plants have been planted on the green areas of Saidpur Road. At the same time beautiful flower vases and small beds of beautiful plants have also been arranged at the intersections of Murree Road, Tipu Road and other main avenues of the city.
