Just like the game of football, the industry that covers it can be a cutthroat business. Former Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy found out firsthand on Monday.According to The Athletic, Fox Sports' FS1 Network is making some major changes. Several shows, including 'The Facility', have been cancelled.McCoy had been a co-host for the show since September 2024. He joins multiple former Eagles in losing the show, as Emmanuel Acho and Chase Daniel will also have to move on to their next venture.Read More: Former Eagles Player Makes Retirement AnnouncementWhile it's unfortunately a sudden career change for McCoy, the former running back took to social media to react to the news in a lighthearted way."Damn fired on my day off," McCoy wrote on the social media X. "WELL, put me on the trading block."McCoy wasn't able to reveal what's next, but he claims that some things are lined up and will be announced in due time."Speak and facility was a blast," he added. "I got some announcements coming soon, but one thing I do know from [football] is TALENT & DEDICATION always wins. See u sooooon."Before signing off for the day, McCoy wrote one last parting message."My last year with Buffalo, we couldn't see eye to eye on a pay cut so I asked to be released," the ex-Pro Bowler concluded. "All my NFL brothas, I know ya pain now."McCoy's playing career started in 2009. Coming out of Pittsburgh, he was selected by the Eagles during the second round of the NFL Draft. He ended up playing in six seasons for the Eagles. He led the NFL in rushing yards with 1,607 in 2013. McCoy parted ways with the Eagles' organization in 2015 via trade. He left behind a Hall of Fame-worthy resume for the franchise.After spending four seasons with the Buffalo Bills and one season with the Kansas City Chiefs, followed by a run with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, McCoy wrapped up his playing days after the 2020 season.
