Chandigarh, Jun 24 (PTI) The BSF has recovered the lower part of a pistol and a magazine from a field near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Amritsar district. The weapon, wrapped in a yellow adhesive tape, was found from the agricultural field in the Roranwala Khurd village on Monday, said a BSF official. The official also said the BSF troops had on Sunday recovered a packet of heroin weighing 493 grams from a field in the same village during a search operation. The packet was wrapped with yellow adhesive tape with a metal ring attached to it, the official added. PTI CHS MNK MNK
