Premier League is coming to New Jersey this summer. Which teams will play at MetLife Stadium?

The Premier League is returning to New Jersey this summer. And, while Gov. Phil Murphy lobbied hard to make this visit a regular-season game, he called the single-admission double-header at MetLife Stadium “about as good as it gets” for U.S. soccer fans.
The European soccer behemoth announced on Sunday that AFC Bournemouth, Everton, Manchester United and West Ham United will compete in the Premier League Summer Series, a round-robin tournament that begins on July 26 in East Rutherford.
The series will continue in Chicago four days later before wrapping up in Atlanta on August 3.
For New Jersey, the games will be a taste of things to come before the real “Summer of Soccer” in the state when the biggest sporting event in the world — the 2026 World Cup — holds eight games here, including the much-coveted final.
“We are soccer central for the next two summers, for sure,” Murphy told NJ Advance Media before the Premier League announcement. “We’ve got the Club Cup, which will end July 13, and the Summer Series will start two weeks later.
“It’s huge. I’m still in the category that I’d love to see them play a regular-season game or a Champions League game in Jersey, just like the NFL does in Europe. Absent that, these are huge matches to have at MetLife, and this one’s cool because it’s single admission for a double header, which you don’t get very often in the soccer world.”
Here is the full schedule of the 2025 Premier League Summer Series (all times Eastern). NBC Sports will air the games on NBCUniversal’s networks and Peacock:
July 26 at MetLife Stadium:
Everton vs. AFC Bournemouth (4 p.m.)
Manchester United vs. West Ham United (7 p.m.)
July 30 at Soldier Field in Chicago:
West Ham United vs. Everton (6:30 p.m.)
Manchester United vs. AFC Bournemouth (8:30 p.m.)
August 3 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta:
AFC Bournemouth vs. West Ham United (2 p.m.)
Manchester United vs. Everton (5 p.m.)
Tickets for all matches will be available for registered fans via an exclusive pre-sale starting on March 13. General ticket sales will launch at 10 am on March 14 via ticketmaster.com.
“We’re excited about again bringing these four clubs in 2025 and just creating a great match day experience for our fans,” said Akash Jain, the managing director for the Premier League in the U.S. “Our clubs have been coming to the US for a number of years and have had successful tours. We’ve worked with NBC to bring Premier League Mornings live around the country.
“So it just builds on all of these different, amazing experiences that we can bring again to fans here in the US that don’t get a chance to be able to travel to the UK and experience everything that we have there.”
