Prime Day is coming, and Metro by T-Mobile customers can get Amazon Prime free on this plan
@Source: zdnet.com
Amazon just confirmed that its Prime Day sale returns July 8-11 this year. If you want free access to the retailer's first-ever 96-hour Prime Day sale, Metro by T-Mobile may have the offer for you. Also: Amazon Prime Day returns July 8-11: Here's what's new (and what to know) Metro by T-Mobile customers on the Metro Flex Unlimited Plus plan get Amazon Prime included completely free with their plan. A Prime membership typically costs $139 a year or $15 a month, while Metro by T-Mobile's Unlimited Plus plan is $60 per month for unlimited 5G data, unlimited talk and text, 25GB of hotspot data, a 100GB Google One membership, and more, including the Prime membership. The Metro Flex Unlimited Plus plan is Metro by T-Mobile's most premium plan. It costs $65 for the first month and as low as $60 thereafter and features benefits like a 5-year price guarantee, included phone upgrades, HD video, added watch and tablet lines for $5 a month when you bring your own device, and unlimited international texting to 210+ countries and destinations. Metro by T-Mobile also deducts extra taxes and fees -- sales tax and regulatory fees are included in your monthly plan price. And there are no contracts, so you won't be locked into a years-long contract filled with confusing and tricky language. This means that if you sign up for the Metro Flex Unlimited Plus plan, you can save $139 (or more if you'd regularly pay for Prime monthly) and take advantage of all the upcoming Amazon Prime Day deals. You'll also have access to the Prime Video streaming service. Also: This $400 Motorola has no business being this good (and it comes with a stylus) Metro by T-Mobile also allows you to bring your phone or get a new one (like the Motorola Moto G Stylus for $30 with your number), though you may have to pay your old carrier a balance if you owe on a current smartphone. Looking for the next best product? Get expert reviews and editor favorites with ZDNET Recommends. How I rated this deal Amazon Prime costs $139 a year or $180 a year if you choose to pay $15 a month. Metro by T-Mobile's Metro Flex Unlimited plan only costs $60 a month, comparable with many other mobile carriers today -- but they're not offering free Prime. This is an excellent offer if you're already paying for Amazon Prime and looking to change carriers. Metro by T-Mobile has several affordable phone provides right now, and even allows you to bring your current phone and number if compatibility allows. Since this offer may not be for everyone, I give it a 3/5 Editor's deal rating. This offer may be less enticing if you already have a discounted Prime rate, like through the new Prime for Young Adults.
