Proteas’ 19-year-old Pretorius sets major record in match vs Zimbabwe

Nineteen-year-old Luhandre Pretorius has become the youngest centurion for South Africa scored as he spearheaded his team’s fight back on the opening day of the first cricket test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo.
Pretorius and another debutant, Dewald Brevis, shared in a 95-run sixth wicket partnership that took the Proteas from 55 for five to 248 for six, at tea.

He broke the record held by another left-hander, Graeme Pollock. Pretorius was unbeaten on 128 off 141 deliveries, while Brevis made 51 off 41 balls.
