Doha, May 15 (QNA) - Qatar University Press has celebrated its 100th book release during its engagement at the Doha International Book Fair.
This achievement marked a milestone in its journey, which began in 2018, joining the ranks of leading academic publishing houses in the region.
Despite its recent establishment, the press has managed to publish its 100th book in just five years, having published its first work in 2020. This reflects its commitment to promoting intellectual and academic activity in Qatar and beyond.
During the event, it was announced that the Journal of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies had been included in the international Scopus ranking. Hussein Abdulaziz Al Khayat, the publisher's pavilion manager, said this achievement is expected to enhance the standing of the research published by the QU Press and raise the university's international ranking.(QNA)
