The passing of renowned radio personality Paula Rokotuiveikau Nabuta, known to many as Ouch Mama, has left many grieving.
Mr Nabuta, who worked alongside the late Maikeli Radua at Communications Fiji Limited (CFL), passed away after a long battle with illness.
His death led to many heart-felt tributes on social media, with people noting the sad coincidence of two popular local radio hosts passing away so close together.
Also sharing tribute yesterday was the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Filimoni Vosarogo.
On his Facebook post, Mr Vosarogo described the late Mr Nabuta as a ‘person that brought laughter into the lives of many’.
He was known for his humorous character, jokes and spoils.
Just like Mr Radua, Mr Nabuto was a familiar voice that formed the childhood of many children over the years.
Mr Nabuta is survived by his wife and two children.
