Fijian Drua’s leading points scorer Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula has extended his stay with the franchise club.
This was after the Drua confirmed yesterday that their star flyhalf has re-signed a new deal.
The star Drua and Flying Fijians No.10s commitment for a new term is a massive boost to fans and signals a strong show of confidence in the club and its programme.
Armstrong-Ravula is already the club’s leading points scorer and played a pivotal role in the team’s successes, including notable wins over Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific heavyweights like the Chiefs and Crusaders.
Most recently against the Chiefs in Round 4 of 2025, the 21-year-old converted two tries and kicked three penalties, accumulating a total of 13 points in the match.
He has made 18 appearances for the Fijian Drua since his debut last season in the game against the Blues in Whangarei.
He joined the club after his impressive outing for Fiji Under-20’s at the World Rugby U20 Championship, where he made the Dream Team of the tournament. Since debuting for the Flying Fijians in 2024, Armstrong-Ravula has already amassed 9 caps.
Sharing his excitement, Armstrong-Ravula said, “Just really blessed, really grateful to the coaches for giving me this opportunity in the very special club like the Drua, and I’m very excited for the future.” Fijian Drua general manager rugby, Baden Stephenson said: “This is a significant re-signing for the Fijian Drua as we believe Izzy can develop into a world class player.
Izzy is very mature for a young man and works extremely hard on his game. When you look across the history of Super Rugby there hasn’t been too players at his age that have had the same impact, skill set and temperament. We love that he is very grounded, grateful, lives the club values and is invested in every aspect of our club.”
Armstrong-Ravula starts from the bench in Sunday’s clash against the Western Force at the HBF Park in Perth, Australia.
