The 21-year-old has made 23 Premier League appearances for the Reds, including 12 this term to help put Arne Slot’s side in pole position for glory, but could be set for an enhanced role at Anfield if Trent Alexander-Arnold’s rumoured Real Madrid move comes to fruition this summer. Bradley has also starred on the European stage with a crunching tackle on French superstar Kylian Mbappe generating headlines as Liverpool defeated Real Madrid 2-0 in the Champions League back in November. Former Dungannon Swifts youngster Bradley has already developed into a key player for his country, racking up 23 international appearances and was also named captain for two UEFA Nations League fixtures last year as Michael O’Neill’s men secured promotion to League B by topping their group. It’s expected that Bradley will be first choice to fill the vacancy left by Alexander-Arnold, who is set to leave on a free transfer this summer, and according to TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey, the County Tyrone native is on the verge of agreeing a new five-year deal with Liverpool which will include a significant pay rise. Football insider Fabrizio Romano also reported earlier this week that the Reds hierarchy have full trust in Bradley while Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has praised Bradley’s quality. “When Liverpool have had Conor Bradley in the team this season, he’s looked the real deal, and I don’t think the right-back market this summer is alive with lots of amazing right-backs,” Carragher told Sky Sports. “So I think the way for Liverpool to go if Trent moves on is Conor Bradley.” Former Liverpool star Steve McManaman, who made a move to Real Madrid during his own playing career, is confident that Bradley could fill any gap left by Alexander-Arnold. “(Bradley is) a completely different player to Trent Alexander-Arnold,” he told BBC Sport. “Trent’s numbers in an attacking sense are absolutely fantastic, but Liverpool fans and everybody will hope that Conor Bradley will be able to fill that void. “You have a standard level and every year, you try and improve and get better and better. "We all hope that Conor Bradley achieves that and becomes the superstar that people are talking about when they talk about Trent Alexander-Arnold.”
