Contract talks ongoing While the clubs are close on a transfer fee, discussions between Juventus and Sancho’s camp are still ongoing regarding personal terms. Juventus initially tabled an offer of €5 million per year, which fell short of Sancho’s expectations. However, the Bianconeri are said to be working on an improved proposal to bridge the gap. Juventus view Sancho as a key addition to their attacking rebuild under new management, particularly following the expected departures of fringe forwards and amid uncertainty around Federico Chiesa’s future. Sancho’s exit would represent a clean break from his underwhelming time at Manchester United, where he struggled to meet expectations following his £73 million move from Dortmund in 2021. His falling out with manager Erik ten Hag last season further pushed him out of United’s long-term plans.
