Resident hears but does not see mailbox being struck by car: Gates Mills Police Blotter

Property damage: Brigham Road
A resident reported at 3 p.m. May 5 that she heard a noise in her front yard and looked out a window and saw that her mailbox had been damaged.
It was believed to have been hit by a passing vehicle that was not seen.
General assistance: Robinwood Lane
A woman said May 6 that her ex-boyfriend opened an eBay account without her permission.
She had already closed the account but wanted the matter documented.
Road rage: Wilson Mills Road
A road rage incident was reported to have occurred near Chagrin River Road May 9 with the driver of one vehicle making a threat to the other.
It was determined that the incident occurred in Mayfield and would be handle by that agency.
Stolen vehicle: Chagrin River Road
A Kirtland used car dealership reported at 1:45 a.m. May 10 that one of their stolen vehicles was pinging in the 1200-block.
Officers checked the area but did not locate the vehicle.
Suspicion: Sudbury Road
An out-of-town resident reported May 10 that he observed through his doorbell camera that a golf cart had come onto his property.
He immediately called back and said that it was his neighbor checking on his property.
