Days after Punjab Kings lost the IPL 2025 trophy to Royal Challengers Bengaluru, RJ Mahvash took to her Instagram handle to pen down a motivating note for Yuzvendra Chahal. The cricketer, who played for Preity Zinta’s PBKS, is rumoured to be dating Mahvash after his divorce from choreographer Dhanashree Verma. In a long post, Mahvash praised Chahal’s “warrior spirit” and revealed that the cricketer faced three fractures during this IPL season. “They fought, stayed and played till the last match! ?🤍 And special post to @yuzi_chahal23 because what people don’t know is that his ribs got fractured in the second match only and his bowling finger got fractured later, this guy played the entire season with 3 fractures! We all have seen him screaming and crying in pain but have never seen him giving up!” she wrote. “I mean what warrior spirit you have man 🫡 The team kept fighting till the last ball! It was nothing but an honour to be a supporter of this team this year! Well played boys ? All the people in these pictures have my heart 🥹See you next year!” Mahvash added. Chahal’s rumoured girlfriend then congratulated Virat Kohli’s RCB and concluded by saying, “Everyone played and worked hard! Cricket , and IPL ..my God again! In one of the photos, the RJ was seen posing with Chahal and Preity Zinta. In another picture, Shreyas Iyer also joined Mahvash. Meanwhile, despite the dating rumours, Mahvash has addressed the topic in interviews, clarifying, “She and Chahal are just friends.” On the other hand, Chahal, whose personal life has been in the spotlight following his separation from choreographer Dhanashree Verma, has not publicly commented on the rumours. The couple officially ended their marriage in March this year at Bandra family court after tying the knot in December 2020.
