Rohit Sharma is famous for his forgetful nature and in a recent chat with Harbhajan Singh recounted a humorous incident when he forgot what to had to choose after winning the toss. Rohit narrated a story from the 2013 Champions League, when he was captaining Mumbai Indians (MI) as a young captain. During a chat with Harbhajan on a YouTube show, “Who is the Boss”, Rohit Sharma revealed that MI’s think tank had decided during the team meeting to bowl if they won the toss. However, after winning the toss, he opted to bat first. Anil Kumble, the team’s mentor at the time, was a bit frustrated with Rohit’s decision and asked him about his decision at the toss. Rohit told him that the pitch looked good, and hence his reason to bat first. Rohit was ultimately proven right as the Mumbai Indians went on to eventually clinch victory.
