Rohit Sharma is set to feature in the 18th Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Days after leading India to the ICC Champions Trophy, Rohit will have his eyes on another silverware. Rohit, who helped Mumbai Indians win five titles, has been in sublime form in white-ball cricket. His fiery starts have stood out. Have a look at his IPL record against left-arm pacers. Although Rohit has an exceptional record in the IPL, left-arm seamers have troubled him. The in-swinging delivery has always been his weakness. Rohit has fallen 29 times to left-arm pacers in 101 IPL innings. He averages 24.10 in this regard. The former MI skipper has a strike-rate of 134.16, while his tally includes a total of 229 dot balls. As per ESPNcricinfo, as many as 10 of Rohit's dismissals against left-arm seamers in the IPL have come since the 2020 edition. He has been dismissed 10 times in just 37 innings. His strike-rate in this regard falls to 126.08. Three left-arm seamers have dismissed Rohit thrice each in the IPL - Trent Boult, James Faulkner, and Jaydev Unadkat. Overall, Boult holds the record for dismissing Rohit the most times among left-arm pacers in T20s. The Indian batter has been dismissed by Boult as many as six times in just 15 T20 innings. Notably, both Boult and Roht will play for MI this time. Despite MI's poor standing in IPL 2025, Rohit fared well with the bat. He racked up 417 runs from 14 IPL games at a strike-rate of 150.00. The former MI skipper also hammered his first IPL ton in over a decade. Rohit is expected to bat with the same approach he has been showcasing in white-ball cricket of late.
