Rory McIlroy makes sweet daughter admission days before The Masters

Rory McIlroy has admitted that the support of his daughter Poppy helps him deal with the lows of golf.
While four-time major winner McIlroy has had one of the greatest golfing careers in modern times, he has had to deal with plenty of difficult moments as well.
The Holywood man is in the middle of a 10-year major drought and has tasted defeat in agonising fashion in recent years, none more so than at last year's US Open when he handed victory to Bryson DeChambeau with a late collapse.
Speaking to the media today ahead of the start of The Masters, McIlroy was asked how his daughter helps him when times are tough.
"It definitely makes the lows a little easier to take. The highs are going to be high anyway, but it is amazing, especially after The Players Championship I think it was the first time that she sort of realized what I did.
"Which was really cool, also a little scary at the same time.
"But, like the day after the Players, she went into school and there were a couple of kids that had said some stuff to her, and she came home to me that day and said "Daddy, are you famous?"
"I said 'It depends who you talk to.' So, you know, it's a bit of a double-edged sword. You have to temper the expectations sometimes.
"As everyone that has had children knows it's an amazing addition to life and it is great that she is here this week."
