Ross McCausland told Rangers end game is near as 'unbearable' Morelos blasted by Colombian maverick - Ibrox bulletin

Ross McCausland isn't good enough for Rangers and might well be moved on in the summer. That's the verdict of Record Sport columnist and former Hibs star Tam McManus, who was less than impressed with the winger's red card in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Aberdeen at Pittodrie. In his first league start since October- which ironically came in Gers last visit to Pittodrie in a 2-1 defeat - McCausland marked the occasion by getting sent off after 40 minutes of play for two bookable offences. Fortunately for the Northern Ireland international, the Dons were not able to put Rangers to bed with a third goal, allowing Barry Ferguson 's 10 men to claim a share of the spoils right at the death courtesy of Ianis Hagi's screamer after Hamza Igamane had given them a life line. McCausland 21, has gone onto make 66 first team appearances for the Ibrox club since making his debut in 2022 but McManus reckons that he might not be around too much longer. Speaking on the PLZ Soccer, he said: "I don’t think he’s good enough to play for Rangers. That’s very clear. It remains to be seen if he’ll be there next season. "He let the team down with two stupid lunges, putting them up against it, and I don’t think anyone had any complaints [about the decision]." Elsewhere, former Rangers goal hero Alfredo Morelos has been told to learn some lessons in 'humility' by Colombian cult hero Faustino Asprilla after the Atletico Nacional striker was caught remonstrating with opposition fans during a game. After he was subbed in the second half, Morelos was snapped inviting Millionarios supporters into the dugout for a fight. The 28-year-old could now be penalised by the Colombian FA and former Newcastle and Parma maverick Asprilla - a colourful character on and off the pitch during his own playing career - has slammed the 'unbearable' Ibrox favourite's actions. He said: "I think Alfredo Morelos is unbearable. "He gave abuse to his own manager when he was substituted off and then the opposition fans. "When I had to say something, I did it in a dressing room. There's not a single image of me going around mistreating a manager, yelling at him, or kicking everyone on the bench. "This isn't new. We'd arrive at stadiums and people would yell all kinds of things at us. I never got off the bus and yelled back at them. "Morelos needs a lesson in humility. "What's he doing inviting fans to fight?"
