The talented football player makes every second count, on and off the pitch
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 13 May 2025 – Rúben Dias is a born leader on the football pitch. His mantra for life, ‘live by who you are, and who you are will show you the way’, has led the Portuguese footballer from humble beginnings in the Lisbon suburbs playing soccer with friends to excellence in UK’s Premier League. Citing simplicity, love and respect as the qualities he lives by, Dias’ loyalty to family and friends is clear: his father is his ultimate hero. But it’s his talent and an unerring, stubborn commitment to training, working and leading his team that has put him at the top of his game.
“Every journey has a beginning, every leader has a story,” says Dias. “Nothing is given, everything is earned, something my family and I have always believed in. But you can dream big, dream high, and I built myself to write my own legacy. Like Ferruccio Lamborghini who didn’t stop when someone told him to. For me Lamborghini was always a dream car, something to aspire to and set as an attainable goal. To me, I look at it and it represents power, that inner strength. It has the qualities that I like to deliver on the pitch where every second counts, every decision must be precise.”
Football is his passion: Dias’ dedication to his chosen profession is clear. He drives the Revuelto[1] how he plays football: like the car itself, it’s definitive, decisive, powerful, nimble – responsive in every situation. “It’s exciting in the way it drives,” says Dias. “It’s beautiful. Revuelto is next generation.”
“When I finish my football career, I want to say I never stopped for a second. For me, Lamborghini in a word is ‘future’.”
