Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet is back on top in the U.K. this week, as British fans can’t get enough of the pop sensation’s most recent full-length. The collection climbs from No. 3 to No. 1 on the Official Albums chart, reclaiming the throne it first reached months ago. This marks yet another turn at the summit for Carpenter’s studio effort, which has been steadily rising and falling – but never fading away entirely.
Short n’ Sweet is Back at No. 1
Including its latest ascent, Short n’ Sweet has now logged four nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Official Albums chart. It debuted in first place back in September 2024 before stepping aside. In the months since, the set has returned to the peak multiple times.
The last time Short n’ Sweet was in charge was in February of this year. It briefly dipped, only to charge back just one frame later.
Short n’ Sweet Has Never Left the Top Five
For 28 consecutive weeks, Short n’ Sweet has maintained its grip on the Official Albums chart, never slipping outside the top five. Its lowest position to date has been No. 5 — a ranking it occupied just a few weeks ago.
Short n’ Sweet is the Top-Streamed Album as Well
Beyond its success on the Official Albums chart, Short n’ Sweet is also the most-streamed release in the U.K. this week. The set rises from No. 2 to No. 1 on the Official Albums Streaming ranking, marking yet another return to the top spot.

While the album grows on the streaming list, its performance on other rankings is mixed at the moment. It gains on some tallies while slipping on others, but the fact that it sits at No. 1 on one-third of all the tallies it appears on is worthy of a round of applause for the title.
The Deluxe Edition Gives Short n’ Sweet a Boost
Since its initial release in mid-2024, Short n’ Sweet has been a hit, but its momentum recently surged once again. Carpenter reignited interest in the project by dropping a deluxe edition, which added several new songs. Among them is the focus track "Busy Woman" and a remix of her global smash "Please Please Please," which now features country legend Dolly Parton.
These additions helped continue the album’s success, ensuring that it remains one of the biggest pop collections of the moment. The deluxe reissue has kept fans engaged, and it certainly contributed to the set’s latest jump to No. 1.
Short n’ Sweet Made Sabrina Carpenter a Global Superstar
Carpenter was already building a solid career before Short n’ Sweet, but the album turned her into a true global pop icon. The collection has produced multiple hit singles, with "Espresso" and "Please Please Please" both becoming massive successes.
At this year’s Grammys, Short n’ Sweet earned Carpenter two major wins: Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album. She beat out some of the biggest names in music for both prizes, including Taylor Swift, who helped her become better-known after she included Carpenter on her The Eras Tour.
