Chloe Basner claimed three first places Tuesday, including a personal record in the 400-meter run, in the Green Devil Invite.
Basner paced the Millington girls track team with wins in the 100 in 12.99 seconds and 200 in 27.26 seconds. She added a personal record of 1:02.72 in the 400, adding a leg on Millington’s winning 800 relay team.

Millington finished third in the team standings with 115 points, while Brown City won with 173.5 points.
Abigail Reis added a pair of wins for the Cardinals, taking first in the 1,600 in 5:40.02 and the 3,200 in 12:00.73.
The Millington boys also finished third with 132 points, with Brown City winning the boys meet with 173.5 points.
Dallas Walsh paced the Cardinals with wins in the 100 (:11.13) and 200 (:23.26), with legs on Millington’s winning 400 relay and 1,600 relay.
Laker Rotary Invitational: Vassar finished fourth in the Rotary Invitational at Laker High with 83 points. Cass City won with 145. Vassar won the 400 relay with Blake Karr, Carmelo Poe, Madix Gorleski and Kristoffer Cerda.
Girls Track
Laker Rotary Invitational: Vassar finished fourth with 82.5 points, with Cass City taking first with 149. Vassar won the 800 relay (1:56.13) with Jayda Wilson, Paytyn Sweat, Makenna McCloud and Addison Kendrick.
Girls Soccer
Millington 8, Capac 0: Savannah Bemiss scored three goals with one assist, with Kendra Peterson making three saves in the Millington shutout. Emmaleigh Peters and Grace Ehrmantraut added two goals and one assist each, while Alexis Berry scored one goal with an assist.
Bullock Creek 3, Gladwin 2: Jaylin Holzinger, who had an assist in the first half, scored the game-winning goal for Gladwin with less than 10 minutes remaining in the Jack Pine Conference game. Jenna Nelson and Claudia Nelson scored in the first half to give the 5-3-5 Lancers a 2-1 halftime lead. After Gladwin tied it, Holzinger scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Emma Debolt. Audrie Stoltenberg had nine saves in goal for Bullock Creek.
